This was done in my angst of Sirius' death. The first jet of light Bella sent at him was red, but the second one, was never described in color. However, the look of arrested surprise always reminded me of Avada Kedavra. I colored the picture in a green bath for that reason. We don't know at this point if the spell, or the veil killed him. All we know is what Lupin told us...he's dead.
